1688 Agent Fees & Shipping Costs

Your sourcing costs depend on your goods, supplier requirements, handling services and shipping destination. Request an itemised quote for your order.

What goes into your total?

Use the breakdown below to compare quotes on the same basis. Confirm which items are included, optional or charged separately before approving payment.

Cost component What to check
Product purchase Unit price, quantities, variants and any supplier packaging requirements.
China domestic delivery Transport from each supplier to the receiving warehouse.
Agent & payment services Purchasing scope, accepted payment channel, currency conversion and service charges.
Inspection & warehouse work Agreed checks, consolidation, repacking, carton materials and storage terms.
International delivery Packed dimensions, gross weight, route, final delivery and chargeable-weight rules.
Customs & destination charges Duty treatment, importer responsibilities, remote-area services and exclusions.

Compare the packed shipment.

A product listing may not include shipping-carton dimensions or gross weight. Request the final carton count and measurements before treating an estimate as a confirmed freight cost.

Use the CBM calculator

Approve changes in writing.

If a supplier price, inspection scope, packing instruction or delivery address changes, review the cost impact before proceeding. Keep the approved scope together with the quote.

Three questions that make quotes comparable.

  1. What shipment was priced?

Check that both quotes use the same products, quantities, destination, packed dimensions and gross weight. Identify any figures that are still estimates.

  2. What work is included?

List purchasing, payment, checking, receiving, storage and packing separately. Confirm when optional work needs your approval.

  3. Where does the price end?

Clarify customs, duties, final delivery and exclusions. Review the validity and assumptions of the proposal before approving it.

When an estimate needs updating.

A changed quantity, supplier price, packaging instruction or delivery address can change the total. Ask for the revised components and compare them with the earlier approved scope. Measured carton dimensions are especially important when the initial freight estimate used product listing information.
